On the 3rd January 2023 over 1,200 guests came together for the largest Australian gathering in Israel! The Together in Israel event was a huge success shared amongst current students, over 400 alumni, family, friends and community members. It felt exciting and warming being in a space filled with so many people that were connected to Mount Scopus College.
The event was honoured to have His Excellency Isaac Herzog, President of the State of Israel speak. Herzog’s connection to Scopus is strong and vast, as His Excellency’s father, President Chaim Herzog had visited Mount Scopus College in the 1970’s and in the 1980’s! There was also a very special live performance from Idan Raichel! He played all his favourite tunes to an energetic full crowd.
