A repeat of our popular session on "Engaging with your tech-savvy grandkids - what are they doing on their device?" Nao the robot, escorted by Emma Shulman Director of Teaching of Learning and Lisa Elliot, elearning Facilitator at the Lew Family Secondary School presented an inspiring account of the 21st century skills our students need and the ways we employ technology to embed good educational practices. We thank our hosts Bronnie and Ron Tait for a beautiful supper in their lovely home.

Rabbi James Kennard held a packed room in rapt attention in May 2017 as he shared key insights into what we can and can’t measure as our students make their way through the school. While VCE results have a strong place in our program, the holistic values of curiosity, the development of our Australian and Jewish identity, the ideals of community and service and a commitment to excellence are equally valued and fostered by our school culture. We thank Stephen and Sharron Singer for their generous hospitality.

About Scopus Foundation

What does the Foundation do?

The Mount Scopus College Foundation exists to support the work and goals of the School.Fee income cannot provide funds for development, and so Scopus relies on the Foundation to support its aims and help deliver its vision into reality. Funds raised assist with the advancement of all facilities and various programs including our Year 10 Israel Experience.

Tuition fee relief programs and bursaries are also significantly supported by the Foundation. The Foundation is also committed to building a substantial Endowment Fund to help secure the future. The goals of the Foundation are pursued by an Executive Committee, in consultation with the Principal and College President. Since 1987, through the generosity of donors, bequestors and dedicated volunteers, $52,000,000 has been raised and applied to campus programs and projects.
